Oral Presentation Awards:To improve the verbal communication among the scientists, the best oral presentation will be awarded cash prize and a citation in each technical session and restricted to the life members of the society only.
Poster presentations Awards:To encourage the participation and presentation skill of researchers, the first and second best poster presentations in each technical session will be awarded cash prize and a citation and restricted to the life members of the society only.
Young Scientist Award: To encourage young researchers, SOCDAB has instituted the 'Young Scientist Award'. The Best Research contribution by a participant as Lead Author and who is below 35 years of age, will be conferred with this award. The award includes a cash prize (Rs.5000/-) and a citation and restricted to the life members of the society only. We encourage young scientists to apply for this Award along with proof of age. Submissions of abstract along with full length research papers is mandatory.
It should be marked clearly as submitted for Young Scientist award. The abstract of the article will be published in the Compendium of the symposium and full length paper in the Journal of Livestock Biodiversity after peer review.
